### How do I create a seller account?

1. Go to **secureplate.com.my/login**. 
2. Enter your email, password, and phone number. 
3. Verify your email address. 
4. Select **“Become a Seller.”** 
5. Complete **MyKad or SSM verification** (see below). 

Once approved, you’ll gain access to your **Seller Dashboard** where you can list, manage, and track your number plates.

### MyKad and SSM verification process

SecurePlate verifies every seller to ensure authenticity.

- **Individual Sellers:** Upload a clear photo of your **MyKad (front & back)**. 
- **Business Sellers:** Upload your **SSM registration certificate** and authorized contact details.
   Verification usually takes **within 24 hours**.
   Approved sellers receive a **Verified Seller Badge** visible on all listings. 

### Updating your seller profile

- Log in → Dashboard →** Settings** 
- Goto Selelr Profile
- You can edit your display name, description, business phone number, and address. 
- Always keep your bank details and contact info up to date to prevent payout delays. 

### Managing your listings and business details

- View all your active, pending, and sold plates under **My Listings**. 
- You can update prices, mark listings as reserved, or remove outdated listings. 
- Add business details such as trading name, business category, and logo for better branding. 

### Understanding seller badges

Badges help buyers identify trustworthy sellers.

- 🟢 **Verified Seller:** Identity verified (MyKad/SSM). 
- 🏆 **Top Seller:** Consistent sales and positive feedback. 
- 💎 **Trusted Dealer:** Licensed business with extended verification and low dispute rate.
