### How to create a buyer account

1. Go to **secureplate.com.my/login**. 
2. Choose **“sign up”** 
3. Fill in your full name, email, and password. 
4. Verify your email and phone number. 
5. Complete **MyKad verification** before making your first purchase. 

Once verified, you can browse listings, make offers, and purchase plates securely using escrow.

### MyKad verification and secure access

To protect all users, SecurePlate requires identity verification before you can make an offer or payment.

- Upload a clear photo of your **MyKad (front & back)**. 
- Verification is processed within **a few hours**. 
- Your verified status ensures sellers and the platform can confirm you’re a genuine buyer.

### Managing your profile

- Log in → **My Account → Setting →  Profile** to update your name, email, and phone number. 
- Manage your purchase history and order messages directly from your dashboard.
