### How SecurePlate keeps your money safe

- All transactions are handled through **escrow** — sellers never receive money until ownership transfer is confirmed.
- Payments and user data are protected with **256-bit SSL encryption**.
- Every seller is **MyKad or SSM verified**, ensuring real and traceable identities.

### How to verify plate authenticity

- Check the **state prefix**, **series**, and **JPJ ownership record** before making an offer.
- Ask the seller for a **copy of the registration card** (log card) for proof.

### Reporting issues with sellers

If a seller doesn’t respond, sends fake documents, or behaves suspiciously:

1. Open your order → **Report Issue.**
2. Provide screenshots or transaction details.
3. Our Trust & Safety team investigates within **24–48 hours.**

Serious violations can result in refunds, account suspension, or removal of the seller.

### SecurePlate’s dispute resolution policy

If a disagreement arises (for example, transfer delays or ownership discrepancies):

1. SecurePlate reviews communication and evidence from both sides.
2. If verified that the seller failed to meet obligations, a refund is processed.
3. If both parties comply but dispute ownership details, SecurePlate may hold funds until JPJ confirms resolution.

🟢 *Our goal is always a fair and transparent outcome for both buyer and seller.*
